SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulp and paper production, can be used to obtain cellulose from non-wood annual plant material. Method of producing cellulose includes crushing and cleaning of cellulose-containing material, alkaline boiling, thermo-mechanochemical activation of cellulose-containing material, washing, bleaching, washing and drying. Thermomechanical activation is carried out outside the cooking vessel continuously in the return flow.

EFFECT: using the method allows to reduce the process time by reducing the alkafide process time.
