METHOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF FLOODED OIL FORMATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC E21B43/20 E21B7/04

Abstract RU 2683460 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular to methods for developing an oil reservoir of the tabular type, and can be used for the extraction of residual production of the reservoir in a watered reservoir. Method for developing a flooded oil reservoir includes drilling a certain grid of vertical production and injection wells in the reservoir, the injection of a displacing agent into injection wells and the selection of products from production wells. After watering products in one or more production wells in the areas of these wells build one or more horizontal production wells with the wiring of horizontal shafts in the upper part of the reservoir closer to the roof to maintain production levels. Horizontal shafts are drilled from water-flooded wells in the direction of the nearby two injection wells at ±7° equal angular distance therefrom. Selection of products from horizontal production wells are in modes that allow not to exceed the water cut above the profitable. Injection of the displacing agent in the nearby injection wells is carried out in a volume that allows to maintain reservoir pressure in the bottomhole zone of horizontal production wells at the same level. In addition, geophysical surveys can be conducted, on the basis thereof the water cut is chosen, which allows to maximize the recovery rate of oil and gas and reduce the cost of dewatering already mined products. With an increase in water cut above that chosen on the basis of geophysical studies, the intensity of product selection is reduced, and when reduced, it is increased.

EFFECT: reduction in the volume of water used to maintain reservoir pressure of the displacing agent in oil and gas production.
