SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method, system and computer-readable medium for protection against attacks on a website. In the method, a traffic threshold value corresponding to the target IP address is obtained; determine whether real-time visitor traffic for the target IP address exceeds the threshold traffic value; and process incoming visitor traffic for the target IP address based on whether the visitor traffic in real time for the target IP address exceeds the traffic threshold, while in response to determining that real-time visitor traffic for the target IP address exceeds the traffic threshold: configure a black hole-type route for the target IP address; get the release time of the black hole route corresponding to the black hole route; and redirect incoming visitor traffic for the target IP address to a black hole route, until the time for the release of the black hole route corresponding to the black hole route is reached.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the security of websites.
