FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of water transport, in particular, to gate of the sluice protection devices against the pile of ships. Device includes an oncoming wave generation unit located in front of the gate of the sluice and connected to the sensor measuring the speed of the vessel moving in the lock chamber. Node of the formation of the oncoming wave is made in the form of a shell of elastic water and airtight material and two gas generators installed on opposite walls of the sluice chamber and connected by pipelines from two ends with the shell cavity. Shell is fixed to the bottom of the airlock perpendicular to the axis of the airlock. Screen with a concave surface facing the camera is installed on the upper gate bolt.

EFFECT: use of the invention will improve the safety of the lock, as well as reduce the time to stop the vessel in front of the gate due to the instant formation of a water barrier in the form of a water drum in the lock chamber.
