FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry engineering. Foundry mold comprises first (55) and second (58) segments. Transport device comprises carrying part (12), robot arm (11), rod gripping mechanism (17) located on the first side of the carrying part, and receiving part (14) provided on the second side of the carrying part. Carrying part (12) with rod gripping mechanism (17) is moved to the foundry mold and rod (20) is placed in first (55) segment of the foundry mold by means of robot (11) manipulator, moving cast-receiving part (14) to the casting held in second (58) segment of the foundry mold after completion of casting, note here that, after casting, first segment of foundry mold and second segment of foundry mold are separated from each other.
EFFECT: reduced time of casting cycle under low pressure.
