FIELD: casting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a casting system of molten metals, in particular to a casting system containing a protective casing for transferring molten metal between a bucket and a casting cavity in a mold. The casting system of molten metals includes a mold containing a casting cavity having an inlet and a channel between the upper surface of the mold and the inlet. The system additionally includes a protective casing containing a funnel and a hollow pin, wherein the funnel is located outside the mold adjacent to the upper surface, and the hollow pin is received in the channel and is made with the possibility of moving in it. A lifting mechanism is located on the upper surface of the mold, wherein the lifting mechanism is made with the possibility of lifting the funnel of the protective casing from the upper surface to engage the protective casing with a bucket filling cup.
EFFECT: preventing the capture of air and the surface oxide film, that is, preventing the formation of defects, including air bubbles and a double oxide film, which leads to cracks in the casting.
