SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for applying a coating, as well as to the use of this device for coating a workpiece, in particular a body part. Device comprises a valve with a plurality of outwardly directed needles. At least two valve needles may be actuated jointly or independently from each other. One or more control inlets are provided for separately adjusting various valve needles due to air pressure. Mating device with an elongated cross-section is provided for connecting to the drive. Needles of the valve may have a different geometric shape, including different length and thickness. Needles may be located in parallel. Valve needles may perform at least two independent functions. Needle may consist of guide, sealing and blowing areas. Needle may contain the shank and the surrounding sleeve of a more wear-resistant material.
EFFECT: efficient and easy-to-maintain coating system is provided.
