FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting, particularly, to rotary valve assembly for injection nozzle. Proposed valve comprises body forming melted fluid channel and outer hole dividing said channel into halves, at least one face cover fitted on valve body to make plug-in part extending coaxially into outer hole to make valve seat crossing said channel, in general, in transverse direction. Valve seat features variable diameter between wider section formed by outer hole and narrower part formed by at least said plug-in part. It includes also slide valve that turns freely in valve seat and is retained between narrow sections of valve seat to move between open position whereat said hole is aligned with melted fluid channel for extruding melted material through said channel and closed position whereat said hole is misaligned with melted fluid channel for preventing extrusion of material through said channel.
