FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining welded joint of metals during arc welding. Welding is performed with through penetration and in vertical direction in plane perpendicular to axis of welded seam, cyclic vibration oscillations are applied to crystallized metal of welding bath with frequency from 10 to 35 Hz and amplitude from 0.1 to 0.5 mm. Providing continuous through penetration of welded seam without sampling to separate teardrop-shaped elements. Vibration oscillations are applied after welding is completed during 5 minutes. Vibration oscillations are applied by at least two vibrating devices arranged symmetrically relative to the seam axis on each of two welded edges. Vibrators operate in one phase or in counter phase. Two additional vibrators are used for welding of structures with significant longitudinal dimensions.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining maximum values of static and fatigue strength, as well as reduced consumption of material while maintaining effective removal of residual stresses in weld joint, grinding grain, obtaining homogeneous chemical composition of weld and reduced formation of pores in weld seam.
