FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wind power engineering. Wind-driven power plant includes windwheel with horizontal axis of rotation and radially installed Magnus rotors in the form of cylinders rotating around their longitudinal axes from built-in drive, and electric generator, in which cylinders are installed so that longitudinal axes of cylinders intersect with horizontal axis of windwheel, wherein longitudinal axes of cylinders are arranged at an angle to plane normal to horizontal axis of windwheel, cylinders are equipped with fixed fixed tips on their outer ends.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reduction of inductive resistance of rotating cylinders, as well as in increasing CMEV due to compression of wind flow to axis of windwheel and increasing effective area of captured wind flow.
