FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to air intake devices for internal combustion engines. Air-intake device (2) comprises control valve (22) opening and closing part of cross-section of air intake channel and located on side upstream of air intake hole (10) formed in cylinder block head (6). Insert (24) is made with possibility to direct the main flow of sucked-in air, which has passed through control valve (22), into air-intake hole (10). At that, insert includes cylindrical part, which is inserted into air intake hole (10), and flanged part, which is provided around opening end on side upstream of cylindrical part and which is located between housing of control valve (22), which places control valve, and head (6) of cylinder block. Space (70) is formed between surface of inner wall of air intake opening and surface of cylindrical part outer wall along entire outer side of cylindrical part. Channel (60) for water discharge is formed by flowing from bottom surface of air intake channel, in which control valve (22) is located, to said space (70), wherein channel (60) for water discharge permeates flange part.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of gas flow reduction.
