ADAPTIVE EVENT RECOGNITION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G06F3/01

Abstract RU 2684189 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of data processing. System and method for adaptive event recognition, in which a selected sensor of a head-mounted display device is used at a first polling frequency corresponding to a higher potential delay. Initial information associated with a user is received. When the initial information is consistent with a pre-event, the selected sensor is used at a second polling frequency greater than the first polling frequency and the corresponding lower potential delay. Subsequent information associated with the user is received. When the subsequent information is consistent with the selected target event, the estimated execution time is determined, when the selected target event occurs, and a feedback signal is issued to the user, associated with the selected target event, through the head-mounted display device.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the delay in processing the gesture input.
