SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of digital technology for processing data intended for calculating the values of functions by approximate methods, in particular extrapolation. Technical result is achieved due to the multi-speed digital extrapolator, which contains the first, second and third memory elements, first and second subtraction nodes, the first and second summation nodes, the first and second scaling blocks, as well as the integrator, moreover, the scaling unit performs, in addition to the scaling operation, the operation of multiplying the input value by the weight of the extrapolation error coefficient.
EFFECT: accelerating the calculation of the predicted value, excluding the probability of the occurrence of signals at the device output corresponding to the irrelevant results of calculating the predicted values.
