FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a catalyst for hydroprocessing catalyst of diesel fractions. Aluminum hydroxide in the form of boehmite or pseudoboehmite is mixed with powders of molybdenum oxide, basic carbonate cobalt or basic nickel carbonate, taken in a weight ratio of from 1.7:1 to 2.3:1. Humidity of the mixture is adjusted to 50–60 wt.% and peptize with a nitric acid. Resulting mixture is mixed, a plasticizer is entered in it and stirred. Molded granules are dried and calcined. As a result, a catalyst is obtained containing by wt.%: molybdenum oxide 12.0–25.0, cobalt or nickel oxide 4.0–7.5, aluminum oxide 67.5–84.0.

EFFECT: technical result from the implementation of the claimed group of inventions is to increase the activity of the catalyst, which provides a high degree of desulfurization of the mixed diesel fractions, containing along with a straight-run diesel fraction up to 25 vol% of gas oils of secondary thermal and catalytic processes, up to ultra-low sulfur content less than 10 ppm.
