FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: three versions of the method for preparing a catalyst for hydrotreating petroleum fractions in sulphide form are proposed. One of the variants of the method for preparing a catalyst for hydrotreating petroleum fractions in sulfide form is carried out by co-extrusion molding a mixture of aluminum hydroxide, molybdenum oxide and basic nickel or cobalt carbonate into cylindrical granules, drying and calcining followed by impregnation with an aqueous solution of thiourea with a concentration of 42–55 wt.% or an aqueous solution of ammonium rhodanate with a concentration of 42–55 wt.%, heat treatment at a temperature of 250–320 °C in a stream of hydrogen for 30–60 minutes; catalyst is obtained containing, in wt.%: nickel sulfide or cobalt sulfide 3.0–8.5, molybdenum sulfide 8.9–22, alumina else.

EFFECT: simplifying the preparation and increasing the catalytic activity of the catalyst, which ensures high activity in hydrodesulfurization reactions during the hydrotreatment of diesel fuel fractions, catalytic cracking feedstock – vacuum gas oil, with a sulfur content of less than 350 ppm, and high activity in hydrodesulfurization reactions in the process of hydrotreating a gasoline fraction with a degree of purification in sulfur from 99½ to 99,8 rel%, in olefins from 95,2 to 98,1 rel%.
