FIELD: cryptography.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryptography and specifically to generation of an encryption/decryption key. Disclosed is a method of generating an encryption/decryption key in which a random sequence is formed on a transmitting side of a communication direction, transmitting it along communication channel with errors to receiving side of communication direction, generating a block of parity symbols for the formed random sequence, transmitting it over a communication channel without errors to the receiving side of the communication direction, where the decoded sequence is formed, and from the random sequences forming an encryption/decryption key, wherein the random sequence on the transmitting side of the communication direction is generated by emitting the harmonic signal through the phased antenna array, the beam pattern of which is randomly generated, and a communication channel with errors on the receiving side of the direction of communication is formed by taking into account multi-beam propagation of radio waves.

EFFECT: high resistance of the formed encryption/decryption key to compromise on the intruder side.
