FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for grinding of spiral drills. Disclosed is an apparatus for anode-mechanical sharpening of spiral drills with different angles at the vertex, comprising a housing of dielectric material having an inner conical recess, in the radial groove of which there is a block for fixing an electrode made of a metal binder with protruding abrasive grains of boron nitride and having a convex-shaped working surface and a length which is greater than the length of the cutting edge of the sharpened drill bit. Shoe has two guides, made with possibility of free movement of shoe with electrode relative to holes in housing, through which the shoe is articulated with spring-loaded inner and outer rods of parallelogram mechanism of drill rear surface copying, which contains floating lever, pivotally connected from below with said inner and outer rods, spring-loaded by upper and lower springs, wherein the stiffness of the upper springs is less than the stiffness of the lower springs which are connected to the adjusting screws so as to enable adjustment of the electrode position angle. In housing there are holes for electrolyte pumping, and electrode is made with possibility of connection to positive pole of current source.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase sharpening accuracy, productivity and quality.
