SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition for improving sperm quality in a male subject. Composition for improving sperm quality in a male subject, containing i) a dry preparation I of Alpinia galanga or Alpinia conchigera rhizomes, containing at least 2 % by weight of 1'S-1'-acetoxyhavicolate, and ii) vegetal extract II, containing compounds with antioxidant activity, obtained from Punica granatum, where ratio (wt/wt) between dry preparation I and extract II is in range from 10:1 to 1:10. A method of treating male infertility caused by low sperm count and/or low sperm cell mobility. Kit for improving sperm quality in a male subject.
EFFECT: composition described above is effective for improving sperm quality in a male subject.
