SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for laying fire-prevention mineralized strips and extinguishing of forest fires in soil. Fire-break maker soil-thrower comprises frame, suspension mechanism, ripper, spherical disks, milling cutters, auger, drive. Spherical disks have a removable cutting edge with semicircular cutouts made of separate segments and installed with displacement relative to each other in longitudinal direction with overlapping and make it possible to form soil shaft before milling cutters, which are installed at level of bottom of furrow. At that, drive of spherical disks and screw is made from separate hydraulic motors.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation due to improvement of quality of preparation of soil shaft for cutters, reduction of force of soil cutting and traction resistance of the unit, and also increase of reliability and reduction of expenses for service.
