SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to extinguish ground fires with soil, as well as for laying protective mineralized strips. The effect is achieved by the fact that the forest fire soil thrower, containing a frame, cutters-throwers, a drive, according to the invention, it contains a frame, in the rear part of which a working body is pivotally mounted in the form of a high-torque hydraulic motor with a flywheel mounted on its output shaft with cutters-throwers, and the body the hydraulic motor in the upper part is connected to the frame by means of a hydraulic cylinder with the possibility of changing the position in the vertical plane. The proposed device makes it universal, as it is both a soil thrower and a strip-laying device, it has the ability to regulate the supply of the amount of soil supplied to extinguish the fire, as well as to regulate the forward speed of the tractor and, consequently, its productivity.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of a forest fire soil thrower with high efficiency in soils saturated with roots.
