SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a reinforcing member of a vehicle door, a vehicle door, a vehicle and a method of making the reinforcing element. Reinforcing element extends along main direction and comprises at least one main part having reinforced cross-section 40 extending in plane substantially perpendicular to main direction. In cross-section 40 the element contains seven adjacent branches 42a, 42b, 42c, 42d, 42e, 42f, 42g, passing in different directions, so that two successive branches form non-zero angle, and at least two non-zero angles have opposite signs.
EFFECT: high degree of safety of passengers during collisions and other situations, in which there are very high loads due to impact action on vehicle.
