FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used in construction of soil dams, dams and bank protective structures. Attachment of the upper slope of the dam includes rows of wedge-shaped dampers. Wedge-shaped dampers feature wedge-like shape in plan and section. Wedge-like dampers are arranged in staggered order so that their ends face the upstream side in one row with narrow end, and in the other row – with wide end. Drain holes are arranged between the dampers.
EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to increase efficiency of damping of waves with simultaneous reduction of material consumption of coating and volume of a soil dam.
