FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to neurology, rehabilitation science, paediatrics, and can be used in rehabilitation of children with motor activity disorder and muscular tonus. For this purpose, disclosed is a method characterized by that during self-activity of the child on the floor by means of external action using a device according to claim 2 prevents child sitting in position shown in figures 1 and 2, without resting on hands. Thus, it is possible to rest on knees with support on hands, sit with support on one hip with retraction of bent legs to the opposite side, as well as to crawl on all fours. Disclosed is a device comprising two chains, including serially and flexibly connected ball-shaped elements. First chain includes at least seven spherical elements. Second chain includes at least six ball-shaped elements and is configured for detachable connection of its ends. Second chain ends at the ends with hooks. Ball-shaped elements are made of plastic hollow with outer diameter of 75–85 mm.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective and accessible rehabilitation of children with impaired motor activity and muscle tone, including in home conditions without using various additional devices and exercise equipment, due to correction of pathological W-shaped child sitting, which prevents formation of high-quality independent walking.
