PUMP UNIT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F04B43/06

Abstract RU 2685353 C1

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping units intended for pumping media with high content of solid inclusions, corrosive or toxic liquids and lifting them from large depths. Pump unit includes housing with two parts with inner cylindrical cavities with holes for supply and discharge of pumped medium, two longitudinally deformable bellows, each of which is fixed inside each part of housing with one end surface to one inner end surface of each part of housing. Opposite end face of each bellows is made with a plug. On the end surface of each part of the housing, which is connected to the bellows, there is an opening for supply of working medium into the inner cavity, limited by bellows, plug and end surface of the housing part. Hydraulic control system of pump unit is made in form of tank with working medium, pressure pump, at least two independent hydraulic lines and system of valves made with possibility of alternate connection of bellows inner cavities with working fluid to the first or second line depending on bellows positions. Working medium pressure in one line is less than pressure of pumped medium at pump unit inlet, and in second line pressure of working medium is higher than pressure of pumped medium at inlet of pump unit. Inner cavity of each bellows is connected with manifolds with possibility of alternate switching with pressure pump for supply of working medium by means of the first hydraulic line and with tank with working medium by means of the second hydraulic line. In addition, the pump unit comprises a position control device of each bellows, which is configured to control alternate connection of the inner cavity of the bellows with the working fluid to the first or second line depending on the positions of the bellows.

EFFECT: allows increasing pump efficiency at reduction of weight and dimensions of pump unit, increasing energy efficiency of pump unit.
