FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for hardening of thin-walled long parts from alloyed steel in controlled air flow. Device comprises a housing on four sides, configured to accommodate at least one hardened part, a fan which generates airflow flowing through the housing, air flow guides attached from the inner side to the housing side walls in its lower part and diverting the air flow into the central part of the housing. Device is equipped with system of holding at least one hardened part located in central part of housing. In the upper part of the body along the perimeter of its three sides there are ventilation openings, to which by one end a tight ventilation channel is supplied, which goes out by the other end beyond the limits of the working room, which provides the air flow outlet due to exhaust ventilation, on the fourth side of the body along its entire height there are doors. On four sides in the lower part of the housing there are air supply openings, and in the upper part of the device there is a cover and a hatch with a gate.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the quenched parts cooling rate.
