FIELD: lifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device and method for determining transition from layer to layer of steel lifting cable. Device consists of a drum unit, a cable tensioner unit, a cable loading unit and a sliding block of the lead screw. Drum unit is intended for winding of steel rope on drum and drum rotation. Drum unit and sliding block of lead screw are installed on lower frame (1). Cable tensioner unit is connected to the cable loader unit by means of a threaded rod and a static moment sensor (28). Rope loader unit is fixed on slides (9) on vertical guides with free end (4). Device can simulate conditions of friction and vibration between layers of steel rope, wound on drum, and during winding of next layer on drum and to measure in real time tensile force acting on straight and bent cable, torsional force acting on straight rope, as well as friction force and acceleration of vibration for wound, straight and bent cable during transition from layer to layer.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of determining the friction force acting on the steel rope in the winding process on the previous layer.
