SUBSTANCE: invention is related to structural elements of hookahs. Hourglass for smoking tobacco in a shisha bowl comprises a housing with a heating element, wherein housing is made in form of hollow cylindrical or prismatic body on side surface of which along perimeter on outer side cylindrical compartments are located - cells for autonomous power sources, longitudinal axis of which is parallel to longitudinal axis of housing, and is equipped with chamomile cap, along the perimeter of which there are petal ledges - caps for corresponding compartments-cells, and heating element is made in form of plate from material with high heat conductivity with through holes, attached to housing lower part by means of rod holders with formation of air gap, in body of which there are internal radial cavities in which electric heaters are installed, wherein in housing upper part power supply and control unit is located, to which electrical contacts of compartment-cells for independent power sources are connected and one or more evenly arranged electric heaters, in addition, to lower end of housing is attached in form of bottom heat-insulating plate and / or in air gap between housing and plate of heating element there is at least one heat-reflecting screen of heat-resistant sheet, fixed on rod holders.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is an increase in the tobacco-containing smoking mixture heating efficiency in the hookah bowl and, accordingly, increase in the smoking gas mixture formation efficiency in the hookah.
