In the invention, the predetermined fingerprint recognition area is controlled to emit light, and the fingerprint sensor is launched to obtain a fingerprint image only when a fingerprint recognition start command is detected that is triggered by the electronic device in real time. If there is no command to start detecting a fingerprint, the display screen does not change, and the fingerprint sensor is in an idle state. Only the predefined fingerprint recognition area is controlled to perform fingerprint recognition, other areas on the display do not affect fingerprinting, so the original display or the display off is not affected.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure accurate and effective interaction between the person and the device when receiving a fingerprint on the display screen, simplifying the electronic device.
