FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to provision of access to the functions of device. Claimed procedure comprises the functions that follow. The receipt of indication of the slide gesture executed from the first preset display portion to the second preset display portion. Slide gesture is classified as the start gesture based on introduction of motion lag by at least the threshold time interval at execution of slide gesture. The preset set of functional elements is displayed in response to start gesture classification to initiate the execution of appropriate function when the appropriate element is selected from preset set of functional elements. The state change is initiated in response to gesture termination before the introduction of motion lag by at least the threshold period.
EFFECT: fast access to definite functions of the device in response to sensor gesture.
