FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in the method that is applicable in an electronic device with a liquid crystal display screen, in which the sensors of the fingerprint recognition and light-sensitive sensors of the LCD display are distributed, the reception of the request command of the fingerprint recognition initiated by user's finger is carried out; the area of shielding is determined, consisting of the provisions light-sensitive sensors shielded by the fingers upon receiving the command of the fingerprint recognition; a part of sensors of the fingerprint recognition is selected, depending on the shielding field; the selected part of sensors of the fingerprint recognition is controlled for the fingerprint recognition.

EFFECT: reducing the consumption of resources caused by the fact that all fingerprint recognition sensors located on the whole surface of the LCD screen, have the ability to recognize fingerprints, that preserves the used resources.
