FIELD: internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in mechanisms of gas distribution of internal combustion engines. System of electrohydraulic drive of valves of internal combustion engine includes hydraulic cylinder (1), plunger (2), hydraulic pump (15), reduction valve (16) and line (11) of oil drain into crankcase of engine. Plunger (2) is made one with engine valve (6) and divides hydraulic cylinder (1) into upper and lower control chambers (4) and (3). Hydraulic pump (15) with pressure oil line (14) is connected to upper control chamber (4). Pressure reducing valve (16) is designed to maintain constant oil pressure after hydraulic pump (15). Plunger areas (2), through which the oil pressure force is transmitted, in both chambers (4) and (3) are equal. In lower chamber (3) there is ledge (9) to limit excess stroke of valve (6) when it is opened and two electromagnetic valves (10) and (13) are mounted. One electromagnetic valve (10) is connected above ledge (9) for periodic drain of oil from chamber (3) into crankcase of engine. Second electromagnetic valve (13) is connected below ledge (9) for intermittent supply of oil into chamber (3) from the pressure oil line after hydraulic pump (15). In upper chamber (4) there is window (18) and jet (19) connected to pressure oil line (14) by means of pipeline (20) with hydraulic accumulator (21) and "after-flow" regulator (22) supporting oil pressure in pipeline (20) lower than oil pressure in pressure oil line (14) created by hydraulic pump (15). Contactless sensor (8) of valve stroke control (6) is installed on hydraulic cylinder (1).

EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of gas distribution phases control area and valve travel variation.
