SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to protective jackets. Protective jacket of the OBD connector (on-board diagnostics) comprises: a casing housing, which contains a window and can accommodate the entire OBD connector through the window, a sliding cover which is fixed with the possibility of sliding to the casing housing and opens/closes the window by means of its sliding, and a locking mechanism which comprises a key cylinder arranged on the front portion of the sliding cover in a visually observable manner, and closes the sliding cover by the action of the key cylinder. Casing housing is configured to receive the OBD connector along the direction perpendicular to its width direction.
EFFECT: improved compactness of the protective jacket and improved protection of the OBD connector.
