End plate for vehicle includes upper end plate, lower end plate and cover, which closes gap between lower end edge of upper end plate and upper end edge of lower end plate. Vehicle includes a motor and a body. Engine is attached to the housing through the end plate. First stepped section having a pair of the first flat surface and the second flat surface intersecting with the first flat surface is provided on the cover engine side. First flat surface is inclined downward relative to horizontal plane when first flat surface is directed towards engine.

EFFECT: exclusion of probability of ingress of foreign substances into the housing, in which the clutch or torque converter is located, and increased service life of the clutch or torque converter in the housing.
