FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acceleration engineering. Essence of invention: use of a string of refractory metal with diameter of 1 mm, associated with mechanism of movement along axis of vacuum chamber, which satisfies condition of obtaining beam of direct current of hydrogen ions with current I = 5 × 10-3 A at discharge current I = 0.5 A, voltage at discharge U = 300 V. Anode in form of soft multilayer thin-walled cylinder from non-magnetic foil, and the anode insulator in the form of a bushing allows to exclude the source operation disruption due to formation of the conduction ("short-circuiting") conduction channels of the anode-cathode by the cathode and anti-cathode sputtering products. At that, introduction of mechanically soft non-magnetic ring with high heat resistance between anode and insulator allows to protect anode insulator against temperature deformations.
EFFECT: technical result is higher stability of operation.
