FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology and toxicological chemistry. Method of determining nifedipine in a biological material is that the biological object is ground, twice for 30 minutes, treated with portions of an organic insulating agent, which is acetone, obtained organic extracts are combined, solvent from combined extraction is evaporated in air current, residue is repeatedly treated with acetone, acetone extracts are separated, combined, evaporated in air current at temperature of 18–22 °C until complete removal of the solvent, the residue is dissolved in a mixture of acetone-water solvents in ratio of 7:3 by volume, chromatography in a macrocolumn with a sorbent "Silasorb S-18" 30 mc, eluting with a mixture of acetone-water solvents in ratio of 7:3 by volume, eluate fractions containing the analyzed substance, the eluent is evaporated, the residue is dissolved in a solvent mixture of acetonitrile-phosphate buffer solution with pH 9 in ratio of 5:5 by volume and HPLC is determined using a mobile phase of acetonitrile-phosphate buffer solution with pH 9 in ratio of 5:5 by volume, supplied at rate of 10,00 mcl/min, and a UV detector which detects optical density at 250 nm.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of determining nifedipine in a biological material.
