FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to thin-sheet materials centring in fabrication of U-shaped front panel of home refrigerator door. Sheet blank is fed to position of blanking along lower plate between guides to sinking stops installed on lower plate. Technological V-shaped cuts are cut in both butt ends of sheet billet at its centre by means of punch punches and its alignment along the above process cutouts by means of catchers. Further, sheet billet is bent into U-shaped part by means of bending puncheons installed on upper plate of plant.
EFFECT: ensuring accuracy of billet axial centring.
