FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for transporting sheet glass in a process line comprising a cutting portion serving as a processing position for forming secant lines on the sheet glass, grinding section, for grinding outer edges of sheet glass, a section of bending breaking arranged between the cutting area and the grinding section, and a section for transporting sheet glass. Transport device comprises transport manipulator reciprocating between glass processing positions. On the manipulator suction cups are installed, which can be lifted and lowered by means of the lifting device. Lifting device comprises crank-slider mechanism, having crankshaft and slider. Crankshaft is connected with lifting motor installed on transportation manipulator, and suction cups are installed on slider and are adapted to be lifted and lowered as a result of actuation of lifting engine.

EFFECT: technical result is faster movement of sheet glass and shorter downtime during processing.
