FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: gas pressure regulator includes actuator, stabilizer, pilot and monitor connected to each other in technological order by means of pulse gas lines. Regulator additionally includes an accelerator providing for operation of the monitor at failure of the regulator, and a silencer installed in the reduction zone between the valve and the movable seat of the regulator. Accelerator is a housing with a cover, between which a movable system is fixed, which ensures transfer of spring force to a valve installed in the accelerator housing. In the accelerator housing there is an internal channel through which the control pressure created by the pilot is released from the chamber of the actuator into the chamber of the accelerator with pulse pressure. Noise silencer is made in the form of at least one foam metal ring with porosity of not more than 10 ppi.

EFFECT: higher reliability and accuracy of valve reduction.
