FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for preventing the recurrence of the full transsynphic pararectal fistula after ligature and intersection of the fistula in inter-sphincter space in the patients with chronic paraproctitis. A segment of the proximal stump of the fistulous passage is removed from the intersphincter sulcus to the level of the skin of the perianal wound and the free ends of the sutures previously used for fistula dressing are anchored and fixed to the skin of the medial perianal wound edge.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of ligature sliding from the proximal fistula stump.
