FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a method for cultivating grasses, and can be used for cultivation of perennial fodder grass of a Lotus corniculatus in monoseeding on gray, dark gray podzolic, anthropogenically transformed soils with high acidity in pH range 4.1–5.8 and low level of provision of mineral nutrition with movable composition. Method includes pre-sowing soil treatment by neutralization, spring sowing of crop seeds and harvesting. Presowing tillage of soil is performed as follows: plowing is performed at depth of 8–12 cm, harrowing, single introduction of neutralizing mixture, kg/ha: dolomite meal 50 ± 1, boric acid 2 ± 0.1, soil rolling by round rollers with ground pressure less than 0.2 ± 0.05 kg/cm2. Seed culture is sown in 13–14 days at depth of 1 cm, sowing rate of 6.4 kg/ha. Before seeding, the seed material is subjected to scarification.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of seed consumption rate, provision of high quality fodder crop, preservation and improvement of soil fertility.
