FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a UV-curable hot-melt adhesive composition for laminating transparent films, particularly molded articles from wood materials which are coated with melamine or polyvinyl chloride. Hot-melt adhesive composition contains at least one UV-curable urethane(meth)acrylate, at least one (meth)acrylate monomer or oligomer and at least one photoinitiator. UV-curable urethane(meth)acrylate is obtained by converting an NCO-functional polyurethane prepolymer with a molar excess of hydroxy- and / or amino-modified (meth)acrylate. At least one (meth)acrylate monomer or oligomer includes acid-modified (meth)acrylate with acid number from 50 to 400 mg KOH/g. Invention also relates to a method of laminating a film onto a molded article using said hot-melt adhesive composition and composite materials made thereby.

EFFECT: use of said composition enables lamination of wood materials with mirror-glossy films in order to produce mirror-glossy furniture parts which can be subjected to further processing immediately after lamination of the film, and enables to avoid lacquering steps and intermediate processing steps.
