FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermoplastic adhesive based on heat-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane copolymers (TRU). Composition contains a heat-resistant TRU copolymer which contains a reaction product between at least one ester-based polyester polyol which contains: a) at least one semi-crystalline ester-based polyether polyol and b) at least one non-crystalline ester-based polyether polyol; and at least one polyisocyanate which is selected from a group of aromatic, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diisocyanates. Molar ratio between NCO groups of polyisocyanate and ether polyether polyol groups ranges from 0.7:1 to 0.95:1, and viscosity of copolymer TRU ranges from 1000 to 100,000 MPa⋅s at 160 °C. Thermal stability of the copolymer TRU is also defined as a change in viscosity which is less than ±10 % compared to initial viscosity of copolymer TRU, after 6 hours at 160 °C.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining hot-melt adhesive, which provides low viscosity during application, without using an extruder, and characterized by high heat resistance.
