FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used to produce microbe protein mass for animal feeding. Strain of heterotrophic bacteria Cupriavidus gilardii GBS-15-1, capable of using co-oxidation products of methane homologues present in natural gas, is deposited in the All-Russian collection of microorganisms of the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms G. K. Skryabin of the Russian Academy of Sciences under registration number VKM B-3265D.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of methane-oxidising bacteria.
