FIELD: microbiological industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the microbiological industry, namely to a strain of methane-oxidizing bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus BF19-07, which can be used to obtain microbial protein biomass. This strain was deposited at the Bioresource Center of the Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (BRC RNCIM) of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute - GosNIIGenetics" under the registration number VKPM B-13764, as a producer of microbial protein, which is necessary for the production of protein-vitamin complexes for balancing feed for agricultural animals.
EFFECT: advantage of the invention is the high efficiency of the strain in the production of microbial protein, an increase in the yield of protein biomass and the resistance of the strain to changes in the cultivation conditions without reducing productivity.
