FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing a concentrate of tribotechnical composition based on oil suspensions of powders of highly dispersed minerals of the serpentine group, which can be used as an additive to lubricants. According to the invention, powder from flotation wastes of chromium ore of the Saranov deposit is sieved on 1 mm sieve, subjected to thermal treatment without destroying the structure of serpentine group minerals for an hour at temperature of 100–105 °C, sieved on 100 mcm sieve, milled on a ball planetary mill, sieved on 40 mcm sieve, fractional, phase compositions, tribotechnical properties, and, further, 50 g of engine or transmission oil is mixed with 15 g of powder, and 50 g of grease with 50 g of powder.

EFFECT: using this method will make it possible to considerably simplify technology and reduce labor intensity.
