METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF NANO-DISPERSED WEAR RESISTANT COMPOUND (NDWRC) AND LUBRICATING COMPOSITION CONTAINING IT Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC C10M125/26 C10M177/00

Abstract RU 2399650 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: mineral, preliminary crumbled to powder, is introduced into process fluid; produced suspension is treated by ultra-sound at power of emission not less, than 5 kWt and duration not less, than 10 minutes. Further, process fluid is drained, while the residue compound is dispersed in a liquid lubricant material containing a surface active substance forming colloid solution with particles of a mineral. Produced mixture is settled and suspension, formed over sediment, is used as additive to main lubricating material. Natural mineral contains in wt %: serpentine (lizardite and chrisotile) 80-87, chlorite 2-3, magnetite 1-2, amakinite 1-2, calcite 0.5-1, radio-amorphous phase 8.5-12. Water, or alcohol or kerosene are preferably used as process fluid. Lubricant composition contains main lubricating material and compound produced by the above described method.

EFFECT: reduced wear of friction units, reduced losses for friction, increased efficiency of machines and equipment, and reduced consumption of lubricating materials.
