SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy and neurology, and concerns alleviating the symptoms associated with such cranial nerves as trigeminal, facial, glossopharyngeal or vagal. For this purpose, a pharmaceutical composition containing an analgesic and an anesthetic is introduced into the external auditory canal.
EFFECT: it provides reduction of painful sensations after tonzillotomy and adenoidectomy, relief of asthma attacks, neurogenic cough and other symptoms due to local auricular anesthesia and blocking of transfer of afferent and efferent signals transferred through the specified nerves.
