FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for determination of dynamic rigidity of load-bearing elements of metal cutting machines in the form of bed plate, front and rear headstock and support. Device comprises a pusher and a flat L-shaped holder. Pusher comprises a bushing in which a plunger pair is inserted, on the protruding end of which a return spring is fitted, fixed by a rounded tip from the material having antifriction properties, and which is fixed in the cutter holder. One end of flat L-shaped holder is fixed in the cutter holder. A sleeve is attached to the other end of the L-shaped holder, directed downwards, so that the axis of the pusher is located at angles of 45° relative to L-like holder support surfaces. Mandrel in the form of cam with surface of variable curvature in contact with tip is fixed in front head cartridge. Accelerometers are installed on bearing elements of machine tool and connected to analogue-to-digital converter, which is connected with computer.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of determination of dynamic rigidity and optimum operating mode of metal cutting machines.
