FIELD: treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and technical means of cleaning air in industry and can be used for cleaning air from dust and other harmful impurities at various production processes with content of harmful substances in air of working zones above maximum permissible concentration (MPC), in particular in mining industry. Proposed device comprises, in fact, elongated hollow case with inlet and outlet, feed pipes, ejectors arranged linearly inside said case and connected by their inlets to feed pipes, their nozzles facing nozzle outlet and discharge branch pipe. Hollow housing of device is equipped with flow divider located between ejecting nozzles and housing outlet, forming air paths in longitudinal secant plane, extending at acute or right angle to longitudinal axis of housing, wherein said paths are closed behind flow divider at, in fact, straight or acute angle to housing lengthwise axis, and discharge branch pipe communicates with at least one of them. Method of wet air cleaning includes the influx of contaminated air flow into the housing through the inlet, preliminary wet cleaning by spraying cone of linearly located ejector nozzles, conversion of pre-cleaned air flow into tubular flow of belt type, collapse of pre-cleaned air flow into flow with solid cross-section and removal of impurities through discharge branch pipe.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of air cleaning without need for additional energy supply.
