FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: air cleaner consists of hollow case with inlet and outlet, of supplying branches, of ejecting sprayers, of slime separator and slime removing branch. The case of the air cleaner has length L from an inlet to outlet equal to: L=20S1/2÷40S1/2, where S is area of cross section of the case. Diametre of the nozzle d of the sprayer is related to diametre D of the case by ratio: d=(0.0044D+255K/D)±10 %, where d and D are expressed in millimetres, K is a parametre equal to 0.785 square millimetres. The sprayer has a case with an inlet, a mixing chamber and a nozzle, and a vortex equipped with peripheral tangential through channels arranged symmetrically. The channels are made at the inlet of the sprayer. Ratio of sum of cross section areas of periphery tangential through channels of the vortex to nozzle cross section area is 1.2 to 1.0.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of air cleaning and reliability of devices operation; uniform and complete air cleaner filling with disintegrated liquid; intense entrapment of impurities from air with drops of liquid.
